The Silvretta Arena is one of the largest ski areas in the Alps and, with 40 ski lifts and 210 km of outstanding runs, there are innumerable possibilities. A broad choice of long, lovely and varied descents full of breathtaking panoramas. You soon have the idea that you are really skiing freely in the mountains rather than in a ski resort.

The centre of attraction of the Silvretta Arena is the Idalp, at 2,311 m. The Silvretta lift (with 24-people cabins) brings the skiers from the village to the heart of the skiing area in only 11 minutes. The nearby Swiss (and tax-free) Samnaun can also be reached by ski from the Arena. Along with the other 39 lifts, the Silvretta lift is good for a combined capacity of 78, 465 people per hour. Good news for those who hate to wait!

Those in search of alternative winter sports will find just what they are looking for in Ischgl. For snowboarders, there is a permanent half-pipe and the ‘Boarders Paradise’ fun park, with four zone and 30 different obstacles. Those who know about such things have declared it one of the best in the world! In addition, lovers of carving can get their fill on the specially designed carving trail, and cross-country skiers can experience the renowned Silvrettaloipe, a high-altitude trail that links Ischgl with Galtür.

SKI RENTAL & SKI PASS

No ski fun without skis, of course. To meet the needs of the most demanding skier, we have made an arrangement with Intersport Mathoy www.intersport-mathoy.at) . VIP material is made available for every guest. As an extra service, we have arranged for the shop to come to you, rather than you having to go to the shop. Intersport uses the Rent-Mobil, a service that has been offered since last season. On your arrival, the Rent-Mobil is already waiting for you at the hotel. A foot scan is taken of the guests and, on the basis of some personal data, the best equipment for each person is selected (to 90% accuracy). That only takes 5 minutes. The following morning the equipment will be waiting for you in the hotel’s ski room.

Every skier is given a VIP ski pass, which gives access to the 40 lifts in Ischgl.
