ASL Travel was for the fourth consecutive year present to celebrate the end of the ski season in Ischgl, Austria. This year Alicia Keys was the performer. VTM joined us on the day trip to the Top of the Mountain Concert. The result can been in the attached movie. The item was broadcast on the VTM new (edition 1pm an 7pm) of May 2nd. For our non Dutch speaking visitors we added an English translation beneath.

{Dany Verstraeten – VTM} This weekend the ski season comes to an end in most ski areas. At some locations they organize a real party; so in Ischgl in Tirol in Austria. At 2300 meters they organize a real happening with music and drinks. A group of business people from Limburg made, for this reason, an exclusive trip with a private plane. We joined them.

{VTM} Saturday morning 7.30, at Antwerp airport a private plane is ready for take off. 14 business people from Limburg chartered the plane for a day trip for skiing in Ischgl. This happens more often; the short ski trips with private plane become more and more popular. Nevertheless it remains an expensive fantasy.

{Philippe Bodson – ASL Travel}  If you take the complete ski package, a 4 day ski trip, it will cost 1.500 euro. If you would like the charter the plane it will cost 10.000 euro.

{VTM} But this is no problem for the customers especially when the can see the mountains at the horizon and arrive at their destination.

{Luc Lowette} The time saved is the biggest argument; if you have to travel by car you will lose at least 1 extra day so it’s quiet interesting to reach your destination in a few hours.

{VTM} The advantage of a private plane is the possibility to land at the smaller regional airports.

{Philippe Bodson – ASL Travel} Check in at the regional airports is much faster. We left this morning and 1h40 minutes later we are here, between the mountains. This is the idea of the concept.

{VTM} A luxury bus is waiting at the airport to bring the business people to Ischgl;  the party can start. Four hours after departure from Antwerp the first get into the ski lifts to the top of the mountain. While the real ski fanatics are skiing, the rest of the group is dancing.

{Inge Leuraers} We knew that the ski season would end today and it’s always a great party over here. We just had to be here.

{VTM} On stage none other than Alicia Keys.  15.000 spectators gathered on top of the mountain in Ischgl. The après-ski party can start.

{MRS} We are always stressing and working so this is a good location to relax for a day.

{VTM} While in Ischgl the party continues, the business people are on their way home.
