Rovaniemi is the most important town in Finnish Lapland. We say town instead of city because in spite of its size of more than 8000 km² only 60,000 people live there. In fact, Lapland is home to more reindeer than people. In the town centre of Rovaniemi you will find plenty of restaurants, cafés and several nightclubs. The airport is a 15-minute drive from town.
Levi is located in North Finland, 170 km north of Rovaniemi. In just a few years, the town has grown into the most popular ski resort in Finland. There you will find 44 km of blue and red pistes, more than enough lifts and even mountain restaurants. Of course, even all of this cannot be compared to the ski areas in The Alps. The transfer to and from Kittilä Airport takes only 15 minutes.
